NaNoWriMo Update
The gods of technology have been attempting to thwart me this month:
Unexpected computer-shut-downs cost me several thousand words, because I'm an idiot and wasn't backing up my stuff well.
Then, computer death. This cost me several thousand more words, because of the continued stupidity of me- see above. Apparently, it takes me a long time to actually learn from my mistakes.
Thankfully, a very kind friend was willing to lend me her laptop so that I could keep writing until we purchased Starbuck.
So, delays and word losses, and we have not yet taken into account my remarkable talent for procrastination.
But!
Total Word Count: 34,017
I am behind by 9,325 words and that is totally do-able. And by the grace of some benign deity, obviously not the gods of technology, November 30th is on a Sunday! Oh, happy free days of the weekend!
I will absolutely win.
Although, maybe someone will come over and visit with my ratties. I think they've been missing me this month.
