Looming on the horizon- NaNoWriMo
So I have failed, miserably, to set time aside to write everyday (or almost everyday). Even though I said that I would. Even though I had stuff to work on- my still unedited NaNoWriMo novel from last year and ideas for short stories stampeeding though my brain.
Writing has come in fits and starts and I've been lazy.
So this is what I've decided to do.
Forget all that.
Forget all that and tackle NaNoWriMo again.
And win. Again.
And not take all of December off.
By the time November drew to a close last year, I was set and ready to write every day (or almost every day- Mondays are always a failure, somehow) and I said, "I'll just take a little bit of time off because I worked so hard." I did work hard and then I threw all that out the window when I broke my schedule. So, this year I will do better. After all, an object at rest tends to stay at rest. And you know what they say about an object in motion.
