Summary:
“The world has changed. Yes. I receive undeniable proof of that every day when that electronic coffee pot of yours starts up on its own.”
It's a 10K word case fic, Nightingale focused, and it contains all of my favorite things about the books ever -- Nightingale, funny interactions, police procedural, Harry Potter references, Nightingale, magic systems, Nightingale... I LOVE IT SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH.
Seriously, I actually am crying a little because it's made me so happy. I almost didn't do Yuletide this year, because I didn't feel very YT-spirited, and this has so restored all my faith in humanity fandom, and if you have read these books at all, you MUST GO READ IT! (If you haven't, I'm not sure you'd quite get the fic, but it's amazing so you should read it anyway, and then read the books because they're the best thing I read this year.)
Oh, *flail*. So happy!!!!! *sniffles*
