The futures so bright I gotta wear shades.
It seemed like it was time for an update. So here it is. My birthday last week was great. Lisa, Lana, James and myself all went glow bowling. Erin and Stacey and Lisa all took me out for thai food and a movie, and, when we got back my mom had cake and gifts for me. Thank you everyone for helping me forget that I'm only 2 years away from the big three-oh.
I am almost done with school. Just a few more weeks and I (hopefully) start my externship. I'm trying to get one on midnights so it will be easier to learn everything. It won't be very busy and no doctors shout orders at me. I can just take my time and work one-on-one with my preceptor. I have decided that I want to go into administration. Hopefully when I get a new carreer rolling I can afford to go to school for it. It would be nice to be the boss for a change.
I have significantly cut down on drugs and alcohol. I was sober for my birthday if you can belive that. I still indulge every now and then but not nearly as often as before. The reality that you can't party and work in a hospital has sunken in.
Well, I have class and a test tonight, so, I should probably stop goofing off online and get studying. Because I need to succeed. No one is going to buy me a BMW but me.
