Happy White Day! Only I didn't do anything special for it-I almost forgot about it entirely. I might treat myself to some sorbet, though. Mmm.
Ah, now I need to come up with something more to say... hmm. I've been cleaning lately. I did all the laundry in the house yesterday! And today I got out the rubbing alcohol and a q-tip and cleaned my mouse so the scroll-button works in both (or all four, actually) directions, and it's very refreshing to be able to scroll up and down on pages, rather than scrolling down and then being stuck at the bottom of the page until I use the arrows or the window's actual scroll-bar to go back up. I hope it will keep working for a while now. Apple's mouse designs are cute and all, but they are not very reliable. Oh, I cleaned my monitor a bit too. It's nice and shiny~
And in other news, we got more sunshine today. Yay sunshine! It's actually been a pretty sunny (and snow-free) month so far. Hey, to celebrate, how 'bout I share some pictures I took a few days ago, on another sunny day!!
There are two cats in this picture! Can you spot them both? Also: my two hibiscus, the bottom of what is becoming a croton tree, and the somewhat-sad wandering jew plant.
This picture might give you a hint if you couldn't find the second cat in the first picture. It's like we're in the middle of the jungle!!
Here's the fancy (not really) new orchid I got! And the other creature who keeps me company during the day, our noisy parakeet Francis.
Hahaha! I love this picture. I was too slow the first time she yawned, but she treated me to a second and I was SO ready for it!!!! Cats are intense!
Annnd... I still need some work on my photography skills (all my hibiscus pictures turned out blurry like this!) but at least this one has the return of Jungle Cat!
