Yes. Updating. Be proud of me.
YAY for Lys' birthday! Yay that she is an adult and can vote and receive telemarketers' calls and ... get a license ... and lots of other scary stuff.
And YAY for the dry pastels she got! Lys will enjoy using them ...
I need to scan my pic. Another pirate-Lys one. And a few other things that have been drawn for quite some time now ... let's see if I can get back to producing one finished product a day. Hmm. I need to watch some One Piece. Too bad KAZAA WON'T DOWNLOAD ANY!! *wonders when the September Shonen Jump will arrive ... should be soon! Maybe tomorrow? *joys at the thought** You know what else I wonder? Where my picture of Rin went to. It's not on the killed-D-drive, that I know, but I'm not sure where else it would be ... I'ma do a search for it now. OR NOT, since the search window just spontaneously killed itself. Hrar, I say.
Goodness, this is pointless. I don't think I can write again unless someone gives me a topic. Anyone want to? No? Okay. So. What did Lys do to-day?
She read Grimm's Fairy Tales till about one or so, this morning. Then she got on the computer and talked to people and coloured her picture of Zoro until five, at which time she went to sleep. Then she woke up, at 8 or thereabout, and heard dad wish her a happy birthday before he went off to work. Her time of being awake lasted not much longer than a second. She woke up again at almost 10 and .... what did she do? I think she went on the computer for a bit. Then Animal Crossing (they gave me presents for my birthday! Aww!!) then ... more computer, until mum came home. When mum came home, Lys went outside to water flowers. She came inside and was on the computer a bit more but then got off because ... she'd been on too long. She changed into the awesome shirt from Laura, sat around, watered the hydrangea in the front yard, got a thorn stuck in one of her toes, dug it out rather painfully with a pin, attempted to wrap the injured toe in a bandaid but to no avail. Picked exceptionally long blades of grass that wouldn't let themselves be mowed, went back inside, ate dinner of PORK CHOPS and SALAD (bleh) and saw that some grandmères were arriving. Oversaw one grandmère's browsing through her sketchbook, answered a few "why do you like three eyes???" questions, went down to computer again, went back up to open presents, had lots of pictures taken, read wordy sentimental birthday cards, examined her new CELL PHONE with confusion, adored the dry pastels, waded through colourful tissue paper. Then we had cake and ice cream and I stuffed myself with it and cancelled out the sweet with a tall glass (or short Hello Kitty mug) of lemonade. We sat around a bit until I got bored of The Family and headed back to THE COMPUTER. After struggling a while trying to figure out Curt's password, the Lys gave up and went to the crap computer until Brandon got off, claiming to be done with the computer (but ha to that. He's back on the other one, his, anyway), at which time she switched to the good computer she is now at. I think that's all. Are you bored yet? Did I somehow entertain you?
Hm. I think I'll colour something piratey. Arr-matey!
*really wants to see Pirates again* Ehehehee ... unhealthy of me, yes.
And lots of thanks to all you lovely people who wished me a happy birthday!! It was quite enjoyable!
