february means work! yay!

Happy February! I have come to the conclusion that Januaries are uncommonly light on work for me (based on this year and what I remember of last year). So Februaries are necessarily where everything suddenly becomes busy (aka normal) again! I persevered in my pestering, and now I have Noragami to work on!! Hooray, hooray! I also got the script for

Hahaha, yes, I'm sure you're much happier in Southern California! For many reasons... But it is good exercise, and since I usually do it right after I wake up, it doesn't feel like I'm using up time I'd be working (because it's time I'd be wasting on the internet before I get around to working...). So when I come inside and see the time, I'm like "Okay, time for work!" but without the guilt of "I just wasted an hour or two on nonsense..."

And yes, I'm feeling super in-love with my job right now. Of course the series I'm working on contribute to my enthusiasm, but I think I really just need the pressure of multiple impending deadlines. Otherwise there's no sense of challenge.

You have fun with Noragami soon too! Oh, just earlier this evening I was trying to organize a few books that had piled up (my manga is still all in boxes...) and one of the books in the pile was Manga Dogs v1. And I thought to myself, "It's a funny little series and all but I'm SO glad the Twins are working on Noragami instead!!" (not that I know if it was really a one-or-the-other option. ...erk, and I hope (now that I've brought the subject up) you weren't too upset that you didn't get assigned both of them, like you would've in a perfect world.) I just think that what you've contributed to Noragami, through character voices and fascinating-educational translation notes and, like, everything, is just sooooo excellent, and I can't imagine the series in other hands!! I know it's hard work but I appreciate that work you do so much!!! :D *gush*
