whee, procrastination!

Hi all.

This morning I woke up in a great, if groggy (it was eeearly! like 8 o'clock!!), mood, and the sun was soooo shiny and bright, and all was lovely. I felt like being productive, but I didn't feel like doing my work (yet). So here's a special treat! Daily Fashions in Colour(s)!

I have this single lace fingerless glove, because when I saw the gloves on WetSeal's website and hurried to the store to buy them, they only had one, and it was like... on the floor in a heap. I couldn't find the other anywhere! So the cashier gave it to me for like a dollar or fifty cents or something. Yay! And then it finally came in handy (... hee hee hee) when I wanted to cover up all my scrapes and injuries at church. It was nicer to have people say, "Oh, that's pretty!" than "Oh, what happened to you?!" (or "Oh, you fell off your bike racing your brother? And how old are you?")

Ummmm, Tuesday's pose is weird (so was Monday's, I guess). Also I just noticed I forgot to finish erasing a bit of the skirt colouring (but no one else probably notices or cares so I'm gonna leave it). Another pattern to colour; they're such a pain but I love wearing them!! Aw well. Yesterday's drawing-can you guess the influence?? Again, I get extra nervous about drawings done in another artist's style, but I showed Brndn (who is an even bigger Scott Pilgrim fan than me) when he came over this morning, and he seemed to approve, so I hope it's good enough!! I'm just happy I got the right number of columns for that sweater-vest without actually checking (until I coloured it this morning). Nevermind that it's terribly lopsided and probably needs at least one more row of diamonds...

The thing I find frustrating is that it's really hard to get a good turquoise colour with computer colouring. I mean, maybe if I added shading/highlights in the right quantity or hue, I could create an illusion of turquoise, but there's no straight-up bright turquoise colour. And I wear that colour a lot, so...

Well, now I really should get to work on stuff I have deadlines for in the VERY NEAR FUTURE. So long for now!
