Wet kitty
Oh, Livejournal. I miss you. MySpace is so impersonal, and evidently, people can Google their own names and access personal messages. Huh.
So, this weekend was great! Saw Over the Hedge, which was riotous. Had some drinks with some old friends, and spent a bit of money. Long drives didn't feel very long, and trips down memory lane definitely can be good for your spirit. Might have pissed some people off. Might have confused others, but don't think I care. We weren't there for them anyway, so there's no reason for anyone to be upset.
Got my hair fixed today. No more chop jobs for me, please. Evanston was warm and beautiful, and I got some much-needed errands done. Made Heaven a batch of bath salts (Black Lotus and Temple of Bast), and also some of her favorite essenital oil blend, Desert Sands. Didn't expect her to love it all that much, but glad she does. Also sent my dad his Father's Day/Birthday gifts. Skin care products, a new dop kit, Obsession Night for Men, GoSmile ampules, and a bunch of other stuff I can't remember. Got home. After a long scented bath, am now making baked beans with apples, onions, brown sugar, and cheddar cheese. Return to work tomorrow, hopefully with high spirits, and, if nothing else, a new haircut.
