Good Day!
Yesterday was a very good day, so I thought I would share. First of all I've been working all spring break on my thesis research and I finally got to compiling all of the data yesterday and it turns out.......I have a thesis. All year I've been trying and failing ant doing chemistry, but at last in one week of solid work I got useable positive results. YIPPEE. there's still a lot of work to do, but things are finally looking up.
So that was exciting enough AND THEN I came home to check my voicemail and what do I hear? A message from someone at Merck pharmeceuticals who saw my application and wants to schedule an interview. HOLY CRAP I COULD HAVE A JOB NEXT YEAR. so that was exciting. I just hope the interview goes well. any tips? I've only ever done one in my life.
