In the "I hope it's a misquote, but a three-source misquote isn't likely" section of the Internet, I found this note from Deadline Hollywood Daily:
This comes to me from three different producers, so I know it's real: Warner Bros president of production Jeff Robinov has made a new decree that "We are no longer doing movies with women in the lead". They'll fit right in with Pixar's flicks.
And I'm with Gloria Allred, who is quoted in an update at the bottom of the post. If he said it and meant it, Warner Bros. movies will no longer get a dime from me, and I'd encourage others to do likewise until the studio gets over itself. Of course, I want confirmation before doing anything formal.
