Plain Jane
This is just a plain jane, general update, but it will probably end up being really long.
So today is Sunday, May 28th. The last few days have been rather pleasant. On wednesday, I had orientation for my new job at Taco Bell. Yay for a J-O-B! Then Thursday I had my first day, which was TOTALLY overwhelming. Wow! Who knew? Then Friday I had my second day with completely different people. No one I had talked to on the first day was there on the second day. It wasn't so bad, I had a task that I did that kept it from going super slow and I fell into a rhythm with that. Too bad, it wasn't anything I would actually do - ish. I'm training during the day, but I will eventually be working late or early depending on how you look at it, I suppose. I will be closing and Taco Bell doesn't close until 5am.
I am supposed to be a cashier but there are so many different choices. My gosh... and people talk super fast -- I'm way slower than I thought I would be, so I definately need lots and lots of practice before I take an actual order. We'll see what they have me do tomorrow. I know that I work tomorrow and Tuesday and then I don't know when I'm scheduled to work after that. I will have to check tomorrow. I've been working five hour shifts. I really only want 20 to 30 hours anyways, so it's pretty sweet.
I've been hanging out with Chris and his pals a lot. This is both GREAT and AWFUL, I'm trying to flow tho. Oh well, eventually I will get the hang of hanging out with them and doing the things they enjoy which include, HALO, Poker, Eating, and just being Guy stupid, ha ha. Last night, Chris had me watch The Blues Brothers because it is one of his favorite movies and I had never seen it. It went sooooo slowly.
Since being home, I've been to the movie theatre 3 times. I saw Over the Hedge. Great movie, I liked it a lot, but I feel like they did too much advertising so the climax was sort of like oh... thats it. I wanted to see more. I also saw The DaVinci Code and X-Men The Fianl Stand.

I need to come up with something great to give Chris for graduation. The plan is just to put a collection of things together, the way he did for me like, quarters for laundry, wall mounts, stuff like that.
Well, I think that is all I have to update about for now.
