Are fictional Spanish pediatricians a species of their own?

The week's been hellish. Work and university take all my time, and even then I'm still not able to get everything done. Gah. Depressing.

Anyway, the concert on Monday was fantastic; Bryan Adams is absolutely brilliant live. We weren't too far from the stage, so I actually saw the show, which is always a plus. And the audience was terrific - something you don't see in Finland too often. But yeah, he's definitely worth seeing, and now I love (Everything I Do) I Do It For You even more. <3

Another reason for the lack of sleep during the past week is that I've been too busy wading through Season 1 of Hospital Central. This show is so. much. love. ♥ No matter what the season in question is, it sucks me in and there's nothing I can do about it. Sure, the storylines are corny and often rather unrealistic, but the characters make up for it big time.

First of all...

OMG, Vilches looks so young! But he's already his grumpy old self that we see in the later seasons.

Teresa rocks my socks. She truly does. Her character is truly priceless, in every way. <3

And Esther of course, being her usual chipper self. It's so incredibly amusing to listen how she complains about men and how her relationships never last. Teehee! Just wait a few years darling. Though, I have to say...

...I don't get it how Esther falling for Maca was such a surprise, because the subtext between Esther and Leonor?

Holy ghey!subtext batman!

Javier being a first year intern. Hee!

But oh. Oh! Andrea [Rosa Mariscal]! ♥

What is it with fictional Spanish pediatricians that they're always so darn hot? *worships*

This show has the best het couples ever. Seriously. Cruz/Vilches is an obvious one, but my God, Susana/Mario is such an adorable couple. <3 Susana tends to act like a stuck-up bitch every now and then, but when she's with Mario, I don't care. *happy sigh*

And when everything else fails, you can always play the spot-the-screw-ups game. Hello, camera man on the computer screen! This show is packed with mistakes similar to this, and it looks like they don't even care.

And while I'm on the subject: my Spanish text book is highly amusing [no one but jetgirl78 will get this, but whatever]. In one of the dialogues, two girls named Ana and Bea are having coffee in a local coffee bar. Hee! I LOLed. Not to mention the occasions when names like Teresa and señora Fernandez, latter of which conveniently lives in Madrid by the way, make an appearance.

I went to Turku Book Fair today with grabriellemb and godwana. Books = ♥ Found an interesting book about the history gossiping/rumours, this way making the pile of unread books on my table even bigger. I'll get around to reading them. Eventually. Ahem.
