Aaah! SVU's 3rd Season started on TV2 today. *gets her pompoms* Sexy short-haired Olivia! Alex with omg!hot glasses! Teh hoyay! Yes, I'm fangirling about this four years later than everybody else, blame the Finnish TV channels that don't get what's good TV and what's not. Anyway, not many A/O scenes in the first episode but I can already see the delicious chemistry between the two. *g*
Still, the biggest shock was that my mom actually liked the show. O___O Miracles do happen.
And while I'm blabbing about SVU, I might as well mention that I don't like the direction Olivia's character is going during Season 7. I don't like it at all. *wants the real Olivia back* Seriously, that dress? Oh my God, NO! "Benson will begin to spiral downward". Meh! And finally that Elliot/Olivia bit. I want to cry. And scream, yeah, I definitely want to scream. So, I'm obviously rather nervous about the upcoming season. It's starting to seem like they've completely killed my favourite character. >____>
On a lighter note, Angie Harmon's new TV show, Inconceivable, starts next week! Now I'm very, very happy. *grins like an idiot* 40 minutes of Angie every week. <3 I can definitely live with that. Apparently it's a drama based around doctors, lawyers and whatnot at a fertility clinic. Okay, sounds odd, but it has Angie in it so I don't caaaare! ♥
This is starting to sound like I'd live for TV. Well, that's absolutely not the case. I live for DVDs.
The Emmy Awards are this weekend. Seems like SubTV is going to show some sort of a collage of the event. That means I might get to see bits of Ellen DeGeneres hosting the gala! Yay for that! Her monologues have been brilliant lately, well, like they always are. >D
I also cracked and ordered Ellen's book titled And the Funny Thing Is.... Play had it in stock again [it was 'temporarily out of stock' for ages] and I couldn't resist. I've been meaning to buy it for a long time. *can't wait to get her hands on it*
