Also, the whole Strauss thing... I don't understand it. Where the hell did this come from? I don't mind that she's got issues with alcohol, but I just don't like the way it's so sudden. No, wait... I do have an issue with Strauss being an alcoholic. I'm probably taking this too far, but it's like they're suggesting (once again, well done TV) that a woman in a powerful position just can't take the pressure. Kinda like on AXF, they just assume that the women are the ones bickering and having cat fights behind the scenes. Ugh. Also, with this development, they're bringing in more reasons for people to dislike Strauss. *hoisting up a Team Strauss flag* Yes, I have a flag.

Re: Strauss, I'm really tempted to go back to that Season 5(?) episode where they hinted at some problems on the home front, because that's the only scene which could've hinted at something alcohol related. What bugs me is the speed they made her into an alcohol abuser. Ugh. And yeah, you're right, it does seem like the ancient stereotype of women not being able to hold high positions at the work place without needing extra help.
