Guys, I watched something fantastic today. I first heard about the movie called So Close (Chik Yeung Tin Si) from ur5amaj0r and I wanted to check it out, because the amount of girl!power seemed almost too good to be true.

That was approximate reaction. Actually, no, my approximate reaction was to accidentally yell 'Get the fuck out of here!' a bit loudly, and then I laughed delightedly.

I've had this movie on DVD for years! I love it so hard. My favourite scene is the one in the lift where Dt Hong's amazing brain identifies some suspects and she owns them HARD. Or, oo, the car chase. Or! The tucking in scene. I love this film. And I had a huge crush on Karen Mok for /years/ after I watched it (*cough*maybeIstilldo*cough*).

OMG, YOU KNOW THIS MOVIE. For that reason alone, I totally love you. *g*

Yeah, the lift scene is terrific, as is the whole opening sequence of the movie, actually. And the car chase! Yes! Just, every scene! Perfection. <3

*g* Lol, you know what? I was so excited about this post i didn't even finish reading it before I commented (another favourite scene - the detective's entrance, when all the others all like 'But what could make that hole in the ceiling?' and she's all 'Clearly, a shoe. Dumbasses. I pwn you'. <3). Also, did someone mention Naked Weapon? That's also pretty awesome :)

But yeah, didn't finish the post. Just did. Have to say, fpreg fic for this movie would just...I don't even...I...think you broke my brain...

Also, that link to the things that kids say? Hysterical! The thing about Giraffes being heartless made me crack up, and the mum as a stripper? Hysterical!

Detective Hung simply pwns everyone. Also, the way she flashes her badge in that scene you mentioned is totally hot. Guh.

Okay, clearly I need to bribe someone into writing that fic.
