It's the season finale week of several shows on my watch list, but none of them impressed me the way Castle did; that finale episode blew all the others out of the water. Just...damn. Without a doubt, one of the best (if not the best) season finales there's ever been. I wouldn't change a thing about it, it was just that incredible. Watch and learn, other shows, watch and learn.
First of all, Beckett looks so ridiculously amazing in her dress uniform, it's criminal. Totally a kink of mine. Totally.
UNF. Do me, Beckett.
Anyway. The ending. THE ENDING. I'd already spoiled myself about Montgomery and thought that was the only 'omg factor' of the episode, so the last two minutes completely caught me off guard. I had no idea what was coming, and I have no words to describe how fabulous the scene was.
"I love you, Kate." I just about died. My OTP is frigging epic! Also, STANA FUCKING KATIC. Fantastic acting, she sold every second of that scene. The small smile after Castle's confession especially breaks my heart. Every. time.
Somehow, Castle has actually become my favourite show on air at the moment. How did that happen? Also, this is how one writes UST. The tiny het!shipper in me rejoices. ♥
Now then. Oh, boy. Criminal Minds, that show that simply refuses to die and leave me alone. A certain someone made a comeback in yesterday's final episode of Season 6, and those two minutes are all I really care about at this point. Mostly because, um, LEGS.
Yeah, the first seconds of the scene there looked a little like a bad porn movie (not that I have, like, ever watched porn, ever), but it got better from there. JJ looks as amazing as ever, and it really seems like I need to start recapping the show again in the autumn. Bloody hell.
Finally, this entry wouldn't be complete without including the brand new Rizzoli & Isles promo that has been making the rounds on my flist these past few days. Truly, it should be posted and re-posted, and then re-posted again. It is so staggeringly gay that I'm surprised Angie Harmon actually agreed to do it.
