"My bubble is so pink and so...pretty."

Educational Sciences is from the devil. Pointless theories about issues that are obvious and self-evident to begin with. Ugh.

Anyway, something fangirly now. The dichotomy and juxtaposition between the following pictures amuses me greatly. This is mostly because I suddenly realised one could easily explain the entire idea of Rizzoli & Isles to anyone by simply showing these two promo shots:

Seriously, that's all one needs to know about the show. This also explains perfectly why I'm shipping these two with the burning passion of a thousand suns; the idea of 'opposites attract' has always fascinated me, so finding Detective Rizzoli & Doctor Isles more than interesting comes as no surprise - it's the 'tomboy vs girly-girl' equation.

...and just how much gayness is Rizzoli oozing here? That promo shot never ceases to amaze me.

Speaking of fandoms of the gay kind, Grey's Anatomy premiered last week (I can't believe I'm this excited about the show again *facepalm*), and the episode had two things I particularly adored.

1. The Meredith/Christina friendship. It has always been one my favourite things about the show, and I think it was this sort of a friendship that the writers of Rizzoli & Isles originally aimed for (we all know how that turned out...).

Christina: All you get to do is help me break the tie between the lilies-of-the-valley and the pansies. That's it.
Meredith: No, I do get to do this. Derek's the love of my life, but you're my soulmate. I do get to do this.

It makes me so happy that the show acknowledges their special friendship as well, because yes, Yang and Grey really are soulmates ("You're my person!"), in a weirdly platonic way. Their relationship is brilliantly written, because I've never even thought of shipping them. They're too BFFs for that.

2. A blow dryer. Callie, I love you. And I especially love you for not doing something idiotic, like asking Arizona to marry you.

Callie: I have something to ask you.
Arizona: Oh, no.
Callie: I want you to move in with me. I...love you, and you have a drawer and a toothbrush, and I want you to have a whole dresser and a whole...blow dryer. Or something more romantic than that.

Another thing the show did insanely well. The earlier scene between Arizona and Teddy was fabulous as well, but this one takes the cake. Had Callie brought up marriage or kids, I would've *headdesked* like there were no tomorrow. I love it that Arizona's still hesitant about having offspring, and that her attitude didn't make an unrealistic, 180-degree turn after the shooting. Plus, a blow dryer? Hilarious.

Time for another Spanish class today. During the course, I'm going to corrupt my pupils with every possible Spanish pop/rock band and artist from La Oreja de van Gogh to Pignoise. Such a perfect opportunity to spread fangirlism! I'm still figuring out how to incorporate Hospital Central and Los Hombres de Paco. Hmm...
