For some reason, I've been watching quite a lot of old movies lately. And by "old" I mean old, films from the 1940s and 1950s. Anyway, my lifelong infatuation with Cary Grant (om nom nom; one of the three men I'd go straight for in a heartbeat. seriously, that man is foxy <3) led me to watch People Will Talk--so full of controversial subject ( Read more... )

You're so right about Jeanne-Bridget looking alike. I never noticed it myself, but then again, I rarely notice stuff like that.

Anne Lister... did you notice that the site we're not supposed to mention has a documentary about her diaries? Just posted earlier today.

ETA: I demand a picspam of Anne Lister, as well. Maybe I should do some icons....

The documentary is excellent, I really loved it :)

I'm usually really crap at seeing connections like this, but Jeanne Crain stood still, staring, so large a part of the film that I couldn't help staring at her face 99% of the time. :p

Indeed I did! I had the torrent for it ready, but since direct downloads are way faster, I snabbed it from there instead. ♥
