I always overestimate the time I need for packing when I'm travelling somewhere. Cue to: random LJ spamming! The emphasis on the word 'random'.

It dawned on me the other day that, in order to work at the BAU, one apparently needs to have a seriously tragic/traumatic past. Yes, I know I put way too much thought into all this (who's surprised at this point anymore, though?), but bear with me. Just think about the following:
Hotch - abused as a child
Morgan - abused as a child
Emily - abortion, being a rebel
JJ - sister killed herself
Reid - mother suffering from schizophrenia
Garcia - both parents died
Rossi - ?
Now, that's just depressing. It must be included somewhere in the job requirements, "People with a normal, happy childhood need not apply."

The hotness part of today's entry is provided by Kiira Korpi, a Finnish figure skater. After seeing the photographic evidence from the 2010 European Championships Exhibition Gala in Tallinn last week, figure skating suddenly seemed a whole lot more interesting for some reason.
I MEAN HOLY CRAP AND THEN SOME.
Uhh... My insides feel all weird.
Here's the performance in its entirety. The music she uses? "If I Were a Boy" by Beyoncé. Indeed.

And let's continue with random YouTube videos. Julianna Margulies won a SAG award for The Good Wife (deserved) and
she & Archie Banjabi hugging right after her name is read is really, really adorable. Seriously,
really adorable. Also, her acceptance speech was totally made of win; "Well, except Snakes on a Plane, they weren't..." For that, I love her twice as much.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned yet that
Angie Harmon will play a detective again in a new TNT show? The premise of the show sounds like Women's Murder Club vol.2, but as long as I get to see Angie Harmon with a gun on a weekly basis, I don't really care.

Finally, the new Los Hombres de Paco trailer. It has Pepa with a gun, looking like a total badass, and that's all I see, really.

Oh, Silvia. I miss you like crazy, but I think I might actually keep on watching the show regardless.
