"So, we *could* die?"
It's moments like this when I wish I could simply teleport onto the other side of the world for a day. Paget Brewster's going to be on Conan O'Brian this coming Wednesday (Oct 29), bringing utter hilarity with her, I'm sure ("I wasn't horing!"). Someone, please cap this, so that I can drool over her admire her talent.
Speaking of Paget, there's a brand new LJ community dedicated to her: paget_brewster. About time someone created one.
Because I've been so studious the past few days, I rewarded myself yesterday by finally catching up with Hospital Central. Oh, wow. Why did I even entertain the idea of being able to give up this show? There are some interesting (and insane) rumours/spoilers regarding the future episodes floating around as well:
Spoilery bits
- There will be a Season 17. YAY! One of the show's writers updated his blog, saying how they're gearing up for Season 17. Since the Spanish system works rather differently, I have no idea if this means that we'll get Season 18 as well (in theory, Seasons 17 & 18 would both be of the same season).
- Maca and Esther should still be onboard in Season 17. However, no word yet about the fate of Vero. So far it seems like Carolina Cerezuela is doing the same things as before (hosting various TV shows etc.), so, in that light, she could easily continue doing Hospital Central as well. We also know nothing about Claudia. People say she probably isn't leaving (although being pregnant with Aimés baby and all...), but no one has any official information.
- This whole business of Maca fainting and feeling poorly during the past few episodes? The word on the streets is that it's Multiple Sclerosis. Yes, as in MS. I don't know what to think, because, on one hand, this is really ridiculously funny (I mean, come on!), but, on the other, it's insanely depressive that the writers would give her an illness which isn't even curable. I have to wait and see how they'll handle this-
- The Maca/Esther/Vero triangle. Apparently, there's no such thing anymore. Maca & Vero are friends (despite of going at it on Maca's desk after they'd already broken up) and that's that. Maca & Esther, however, are going to get back together in 16x12. Yep, you read that right. Again, I need to see how they do it before forming an opinion on the matter. Oh, and Esther's current "girlfriend"? She's married. Ahahaha...ha.
I shall need to picspam at some point.
Speaking of picspams, there's one that is very long overdue. It's no secret that I adore Jodie Foster (ever since I saw The Accused ♥ ), so it's also not very surprising that I had to get my hands on a small gem called Nim's Island after seeing its trailer ("No, it doesn't feel just grrreat!"). Seriously, Jodie Foster is a comedic genius. Proof in form of a collage under the cut.
Yes, it's very much a family movie, but who cares? It's adorable. And such a guilty pleasure for me now.
Girls Aloud performed "The Promise" on the Jonathan Ross Show last night and it was glorious. See for yourself:
