I just cannot think all that highly of him, I really can't. The news that he once slapped Evan in the face bothered me more than I can even let on, and I don't like it.

A friend who read that article saw the slap in terms of "you need to get ahold of yourself THIS INSTANT, you're spazzing and you're not in the right head space to go out onto the ice, and they're about to call your name." And while I can accept that on an intellectual level ... it bothers me too :/
