Class is so good! _profiterole_ had already given it the thumbs-up, so I went into it confident that it wouldn't disappoint, and did it ever deliver. So. much. equal. representation.

This is one of the (many, many) things I enjoy with that show and something I've always regretting in other shows, how traumatic events never seem to really have consequences. It's never realistic and always makes for poor writing, imho.

I'm so in love with Miss Quill; she's so blasé and cynical and yet so incredibly lonely. She's such an interesting character.

I absolutely love Charlie and can't wait to see more of his story... I've watched the newest trailer the BBC released and it had a Charlie & Matteusz scene that wasn't in the original trailer, which scene made me even more impatient to see next week episode! (And I was already quite excited!)

Tany was awesome in this week episode. The whole thing was wonderful, really, definitely my favourite of the three so far.

Hope the rest of the episodes live up to my expectations :)

One of my absolute favourite things about Class so far is that it addresses the various traumas. Totally agree with you about poor/unrealistic writing in shows that ignore what the characters have been through.

Yay for more Charlie and Matteusz in episode 4! I'll have to look up that trailer. *g* I love the whole cast so much. Can't wait for more! :-)

Back in the day, I'm sure LJ would have been filled to the (b)rim with people squeeing about Class and already creating comms and making icons I could have snagged to go with my entries... but now, well, now you often feel a bit isolated so when you find some kindred spirits you can't help but come and say "hi" ;)

It does make for a nice change, doesn't it? To see those characters face their past and try to deal with the consequences as best as they can.

Just in case, I was talking about this trailer. I was like, ohhh tension! Possibly leading to angst! Just my cup of tea ;)

I knowww, right? I was just thinking that Class needs a comm, even if just for the principle of it. But yeah, even the DW comm is barely active. We'll have to hunt for some proper icons -- I really want some!

It really does make a great change, especially in the context of DW. Moffat's era has so much stuff that makes me uncomfortable (and not in a good way).

Thanks so much for the link! I read somewhere that there's possibly going to be conflict between the boys as Matteusz struggles to deal with the weirdness that is Charlie's life. And I can't wait to see April in action. I love the way her character seems to be developing.
