(no subject)
I just got back from the beach yesterday. It was really amazing, how I managed to just randomly pack for a weekend at the beach without ANY NOTICE.
Really great. I see my mom throwing clothing into a suitcase and she points to a suitcase next to hers. I give a PG version of "WTF is happening here???"
Mom's reply: "Oh, I guess I forgot to tell you. We're going to the beach tomorrow! Go pack! It's a 6 hour drive!!!"
Or something like that.
Geez. Forgetful parents.
Anyways, it was SO hot at the beach...which is expected, of course, but really humid and sticky. I did manage an awkward and lumpy sandcastle creation, but I think the tide washed it away or some toddler stepped on it. Beachgoers just don't appreciate sand creations. So I stayed cooped up in the room and watched Nickelodeon marathons.
Which is funny, because I get to tell everyone how I spent three glamorous days at the beach and came back just as pale as I was before.
Bluhhh. Anyways, I'm happy a'cuz I get to buy my school supplies tomorrow!!! *super squee* I don't understand it myself, but it's like I have a fetish with school supplies and kitchen appliances >.> I just think they're totally awesome. ^_^
And then "Open House" is on Wednesday...where I get to go back to school for a couple of hours, meet the teachers, watch everyone squee at seeing old friends, and grab the ice cream offered by the teachers as a bribe to get us to come back to school. *flops onto floor and groans*
Well, me hopes that everyone will like going back to school. ♥ (why won't the heart work???)
