I love this thread.
Look..people being helpful and constructive. And nice! And when someone says something rude they get shot down or ignored. It makes me feel so warm and fuzzy! And helpful...I've had some of the same problems as the OP. My raid DPS isn't nearly as high as it should be. Part of it is because I'm lazy (lul), but I still feel like I should be doing more than 2500 DPS :\ My gear is pretty awesome, so there's really no excuse. I'm going to take the suggestion of downloading some addons (Quartz) and testing out my rotation on target dummies. I shall be leet :3
Also, 3.1 patch notes. They are giving me vapors *faint*. Look at all those new mounts and pets. Check out those spectral looking cats (tamable by hunters, PLZ?). Fuck yea dungeon maps (about time).

Now I am going to go do housework until realms come back up. I'm always off on Tuesdays. :\ Running all anti-virus stuff too. Something is making my computer run really slow and that is not cool. >
