(no subject)
My updates have been long and far between! I get very lazy when it comes to posting...
I've been playing Estella a lot lately...I think Lyrie is pretty much retired. I still raid with her every Sunday. But I am just tired of her. Maybe I just need a break from her for a little while! I'm sure my love for her will return when the expansion is released. :3 But for now she just raids once a week. I imagine she'll be PvPing when S4 comes out to get new stuff.
So...playing Estella has been a lot of fun. I was so afraid to take her to STV when she was around level thirty because I had always heard it was a nightmare on PvP servers. But I love STV so I eventually headed that way. It wasn't nearly as bad as I had thought it would be. Maybe people exaggerate...or maybe my server is just full of carebears. I finished my last quest there today and I was sad to go.
Now, Tanaris, on the other hand, IS a nightmare. Or it has been so far. People my level are the prime target of bored level 70s waiting for their instance/raid groups to arrive and get started in CoT. I was repeatedly ganked by the same warrior for about thirty minutes or so. Which, I wouldn't normally whine about, but he made sure to kill my pet, too. :| And teabag/spit on my body. Such hostility! :O I wish I remembered his name so someday I could seek my revenge! It started with an M. Muro or something. << Anyway..
Thankfully I won't be in Tanaris much longer. And as I approach level fifty I feel like the random ganking will become less and less. I can't wait to quest in all the level 50-60 zones! They're some of my favorites.
I rolled a tiny Rogue last night! A lady Dwarf rogue. A rare specimen! :O She is awesome. Dwarves are probably the last race I would consider to be very sneaky...but I'm trying to broaden my perspective. XP The Dwarf rogue animations are okay...not nearly as awesome as the Undead Rogue's, but they'll do.

I wanted to make her look different from the other female dwarves I've seen. So I picked that funky greyish skin color. I've never seen another female dwarf who looks like mine. I'm pretty proud of her uniqueness. I like to think she was born a Dark Iron dwarf who rebelled against her kinsmen and joined the Alliance. But I don't know a lot about dwarf lore, so that's all I've got for right now.
This has been a long post. Just one more thing! Patch Notes for 2.4.3. I'm excited about some stuff. Vanity pets, mostly. But I am very unhappy about the mount changes. :| I know I'll get used to it and not care anymore...but for now that's hard to get used to! First mounts have always been at level 40. It just seems wrong to have them earlier. :(
