I'm BAAAAACK!!!

Hey honeys. My God, it is SO good to be back! Sure, living with my parents isn't the ideal situation for someone who has lived on her own and raised a child while working and/or going to school for the past 4 years, but my stay here at the McOwen house is only temporary. I feel that I should recap the last couple months, since my entries have been few and far between, and vague at best. Scott and I separated in February (physically, we had been emotionally separated for a while by then), and by March 31st, we were officially divorced. Ethan turned 4 on April 10th, and his father and I civilly collaborated to throw him a huge Jimmy Neutron celebration! I completed my student-teaching by the second week of May and I graduated from DSU on May 14th. I proceeded to start packing things up and making trips to my parents' house in Hernando. By May 28th, I had said good-bye to my old neighbors and moved Ethan and myself in with my parents. I got a summer job at Walgreens, working in the photo lab, which I start tomorrow (Monday). This past Thursday, after a 45 minute interview with Horn Lake Middle School's principal, I was offered a job teaching 7th and 8th grade English, which I gladly accepted. I am a little nervous about venturing into the Junior High setting, but I know I can take 'em! I'm very much looking forward to all the new beginnings that await me in the upcoming months. Now I just have to save up some money and start looking for a place to call my OWN!
