So... I've been dicking around saying I'm going to update my livejournal for a while now, wow I procrastinate!
Let's see... my Christmas break was very busy...brother got married, I babysat a little, found out I'm going to be an aunt, and just spent time with the family for the most part. (Doesn't sound busy but trust me, a wedding... plus news of baby, very stressful). I will say I'm definately glad to be back at school.
As for my life right now, it pretty much revolves around doing better in school. I don't make new years resolutions because I never keep them, so why set myself up for disapointment?
On another note, I decided to resign from the Vice Archon position I was elected to in the sorority in order to spend more time on school work, etc. And... oh yea one of my best guy friends and I aren't talking...long story but really juvenile and ridiculous and I don't feel like getting into it. But it's all good, it's his loss.
Boys are stupid.
Um... I'm all about this bass player named Jerry I met last week at open mic night at 5th quarter, he's mega cute. (but old and has a gf so thats out of the question).
My roomates boyfriend came in this past weekend, which was interesting, he's alright...kind of awkward to have a conversation with. Ya know how some people just wont open up and talk to you? And they stare like your dumb for even trying? Yea thats what I felt like the whole time... but anyway, he seams nice maybe he's just shy.
As far as classes go... I'm pretty much taking the second part of everything from last semester. So my schedule is like almost identical to last semester! Which is a nice transition considering there isn't much transition at all :)
I have theory 2, spanish 202, theory 2 lab, singers, piano, voice, and music history 2. Music history looks like it will be a lot more interesting this semester, I just couldn't get into all that ancient stuff last semester. And spanish is going well so far, along with good old theory and lab. I have my first piano lesson of the semester tomorrow morning at 10, and my voice lesson on thursday at 4:30.
So we're singing at Carnagie Hall... hooplah indeed. Anyway I'm really looking forward to going to NYC in April with singers!(Well some of them at least lol, there are definately some I could do without!). We're singing Vivaldi's Gloria for NYC as well as our Spring concert on campus and theres a two soprano duet in that jank that I'm gonna try and weasle Erica and me into doing in voice so we can rock that jank at the spring concert... knowing D.A. She'll open it up to everyone instead of just voice majors... which is gay. Um.. and theres a soprano aria in it too which was actually one of my pieces last spring so I'm hoping I will be able to weasle my way into doing that for the concert or the duet...would be fab good experience.
Anyway... it's mega late and DL is expecting me at 10am!

P.S- Let me just say that all you stupid Danville kids need to recognize! (yes I said recognize, as in recognize that AU is a private campus so get your little dirty skateboarding selfs off the campus... being all annoying and shit! This isn't a skateboarding park bitches!)
