Taking a moment
Every once in a while I need to, I guess. I am about to have my first and perhaps only rehearsal with my accompanist before my hearing which is next week. Normally I would be freaking out, but surprisingly I feel pretty calm. I guess I'm just kind of thinking, if something DOES go wrong, the worst that can happen is I'll have to play my recital at the very beginning of next semester. I'd be humiliated over not passing my hearing, but I can get over that. At least it would mean a better recital, right?
That said, I need some good news. I'm working really hard right now and if just one thing could actually pay off.. I don't want to whine, so I won't. It.. Ugh. If I keep at it, it will happen. Not everyone can say no to me. :)
