Seconded with CS. I believe- in terms of gay marriage- that no, they should not be married under the Church. If the Bible says specifically that that's not the thing to do, then fine. HOWEVER~ I think civil unions are the way to go. I think-legally, now- that marriage is basically a partnership. You share a home and income(s) and taxes and whatever. AND THAT'S FINE. Added because I finally figured out how to say this at school today: I do not have any problem with you. I have a problem with the fifty-odd percent of California that is using their god as am excuse to justify bigotry and discrimination.
