*magically SPRINGS into being*

So Joss Whedon does this thing.

"Here," he says to you. (I am assuming here that you are a young and unsuspecting fan, highly impressionable.) "Here is a show that is full of witty dialogue and charming characters and can change mood before you can blink. Also it has songs. I enjoy songs, you see."

"Why, thank you, Joss," you say. And you watch it, and you fall madly in love, and you recommend it to everyone you know. Also people you don't know. For example, hobos.

...And then tragedy strikes. By which I mean, strikes the characters, not Joss or the hobos. And you scream and you cry and you call him a bastard and you swear you will never love again...

And then: "Here," Joss says, "here is my new project."

"Oh no," you say, "I shall not fall for your false promises of a darkly thrilling comedy ever again."

"But this is different," Joss insists, "it's about a singing supervillain and it has Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion discussing his penis and it's very charming, really."

And you fall for him again.

And you know what? You'd fall for him the next time too. Because he's just that gorram good.

And also he brainwashes you and makes you forget about your journal for years and years and years well, that's not entirely true, and it was only one year anyways.

SO YOU GUYS MISS ME? :Da You did, don't try to deny it. Sorry about the whole, you know, dying thing-- school just started kicking my ass and then RPing rolled around (which continues to be an amazing experience) and it took spinners_grove, my idk bff GRAAAAACE, getting an LJ and learning that ceiling_smiley has a username. And also shares like 80% of my fandoms, as I learned in the most epic conversation of my relatively young life.

Oh yeah SO. As you can probably guess from the above conversation, I am kind of a little bit sort of mad crazy in love with Firefly. MAD CRAZY. as'df'klsdjf and certain married couples will not stop being cute and Jayne and River with the accent and agh frig it's so good why didn't I watch this earlieeeeer

(Oh yes, I remember; that would be my mom deciding to give me Serenity to watch on the day after Deathly Hallows came out. I was a biiiit preoccupied. Just a bit.)

Also, yes Dr. Horrible. YES. It just... it transcends mere words, is what it does. You should watch it. Yes, you.

But um. Now to return to The Office!

I'm aliiiiiive~ <3
