4. Tell us about one of your first stories/characters!
Oooooh god. XD Um, beyond the really really terrible ones? Like girl-who-lives-on-a-boat and obnoxious-self-insert-twins and Jimmy-Neutron-Mary-Sue-OC YES THAT IS TRUE DO NOT ASK? Uh... OH I KNOW.
Okay, so Hannah and I used to go to this toy store every time we went to Newburyport. We still do, actually. And they had this little collection of fantasty-themed figurines, and every time we went there we would buy a new one. Mostly typical medieval-ish stuff, knights and princesses and fairies and dragons and the like, but there was one random girl that I kind of fell in love with-- she had this extraordinarily silly-looking outfit but she had pants, and overall she just looked kind of badass. I named her Callisto. And over time, as we added to the collection, I developed this really elaborate... Robin Hood AU, actually, centered around her. I CAN STILL REMEMBER VAGUE HINTS OF THE PLOT it's kind of dumb now but I was very proud of it at the time. XD THAT'S ALSO WHERE GRIFFIN CAME FROM, ACTUALLY, ALONG WITH HIS BACKSTORY
WE HAD A KNIGHT NAMED GRIFFIN, HE WAS MY SECOND-FAVORITE <3
Also also, I'm pretty sure this will interest all of two of you, and one of you I already told, BUT.
