"Symmetry is awesome! Gun!"
So so! I thought I might use this journal to provide you with some updates about my life, considering that is its purpose and all.
--Going in somewhat chronological order-- about two weeks ago, my English teacher pulled me aside and said that I was one of three people who had been nominated to compete in the NCTE writing contest. So that was awesome! But I need to pull together ten pages of my best writing in the next couple months and hopefully find a way to inject some variety in there. YOU GAIZ HOW DOES I WRITE STRAIGHT CHARACTERS D:
--Then that Friday was the Dollhouse party! Yay Dollhouse party! It was a good time all around-- got a few extra shoulders to cry on during the inevitable crying because, hello, Dollhouse finale, got to break in the new upstairs, and got to introduce some friends to some other friends. Also spent waaaaay too much time playing LittleBigPlanet. And left chevy_the_geek briefly outside in the cold CHEVY I AM SORRY DDD:

--Also also! There is apparently a yearly French oratorical contest coming up soon in Salem, and our French teacher kind of politely forced us all to write a speech for it, and then picked a few people to read theirs out loud to decide who was going to represent the school, and... apparently I won? On my second audition, which was kind of a surprise given the horrible, horrible, painful debacle that was last Thursday, but SURE WHY NOT. I don't... want to, not precisely, but I get fifty bucks and free dinner and extra credit and so I decided that sure, why not.
--I started watching Soul Eater and it is amazing. <3 (the_binksdance have you heard this one? Because DFAADFKJLADS;LJAFSD SO AWESOME.)
--GUESS WHO IS GOING TO BE A GUEST AT ANIME BOSTON :DDD
WELL, GREG AYRES, I ALREADY TOLD YOU GUYS THAT, BUT GUESS WHO ELSE
J. MICHAEL FREAKING TATUM OH YES THAT IS RIGHT

--Aaaand on Monday I am leaving for New York, New York! I will be back late Wednesday so I'll probably have a report for you then~ And I'll see what I can do about picking some souvenirs up for all you crazy kids but NO PROMISES.
ETA: BROTHERHOOD FTW. I just... MAES. MAES AND GRACIA AND ELYSIA BEING CUTE IN THE VERY FIRST EPISODE. AND KIMBLEE. AND AL'S VOICE IS NOT AARON AND THAT'S REALLY WEIRD BUT I ALMOST DON'T EVEN CARE
