(no subject)
So! As some of you know, I was in NH for the weekend. And I've only JUST gotten time to post now, so here are some random blurbs about what's going on in my life! :D
--SO I SPENT ALMOST FIVE DAYS STRAIGHT WITH spinners_grove. :|b She came over on Wednesday morning (with brownies) to spend the day; we wound up playing METAL GEAR until, like, nine, so I asked her to sleep over, and THEN we played Metal Gear the next day until about 5:00 at night. Then she came back over Friday morning so we could get picked up to go to NH together (with krhenrick, Kaylee and Amy), and then we spent the weekend there and left Sunday night. And then she went to camp. D: Sadness.
--But New Hampshire was pretty cool! There was much boating and fun and PUPPIES aaaaah <33 And I went tubing with Grace, which was also... fun? I think? Fun and painful, yay. And Kaylee and I finally finally got to beat Okami together. (By which I mean Kaylee beat Okami and I watched-- actually, you should probably take as a general rule of thumb that when I say "X and I played Y game," and said game is not PW or Layton or something like that, that "X and I playing it" translates to me watching the cutscenes and sitting on the couch screaming KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT during battles.) It was so great. SO GREAT. I actually cried at the end. ;_; Kristen was mocking me. BUT IT IS A GREAT GAME AND YOU SHOULD PLAY IT. YEAH YOU.
--Monday chevy_the_geek and the_binksdance came over here to go swimming, yaaaaay <3 Fun was had by all-- Erica and I got to chat about MATH PUNS and Kathryn and I got to watch anime for waaay too long and randomly :D at all the voice actors we recognized.
--Tuesday we took Zoe to a dog park in Portsmouth with the Maraudercousins, and it would have been fun if it hadn't been SEVEN TRILLION DEGREES asld;kfjs;ldk
--Wednesday I spent INDOORS finally, doing chores and watching Funimation VA panels on Youtube (mostly Vic and Aaron and Travis AHHH I'M SUCH A DORK but I love them <3). And we saw Bandslam! Which was not that bad! Actually it was... kind of fun!
--Thursday we went to Canobie Lake with TOUS LES COUSINS and for some reason I have suddenly become the kind of person who gets nauseous on rides. DD: This has never happened to me before, but the last two times I went to Canobie Lake I went on two spinny-type rides and then had to go sit down for a while. Hopefully it's just the heat? I reallly do not want to be the kind of person who can't go on rides.
--Today was our last pool party with the cousins for the summer. Sad day. ;_; We were on something of a water balloon kick-- not actually throwing them, just making water balloons and adopting them as our children. We're strange people.
--Aaand Sunday morning we're leaving for Chicago! I actually didn't know this until recently but OKAY SURE. We get to eat at Rick Bayless's restaurant~ <3 Hannah and I referred to him fondly as Flanders for his entire Top Chef Masters run, because he was so dorky and chipper and :D all the time, it was adorable. Also if anyone knows any specific locations in Chicago where parts of The Dark Knight were filmed I would v much like to hear them. So I can visit them. Because I'm a huge dork.

I just had to put that in there because it's my favorite shot anywhere ever. <33 MAYBE THIS IS WHY I LIKE OOTP SO MUCH-- because it's that brief span of time where things were actually kind of ALMOST HAPPY amongst my two favorite characters and OTP forever? (Well there was also that period right after GoF where Sirius was living in Remus's apartment, but the only span of time actually SEEN in canon.)
