Joe is in the process if finishing his final week at Microsoft.  He has been progressively more and more unhappy with the company over the last several years.  Earlier this month he decided he had had enough and turned in his resignation.  What that really means is that we will be moving.  We have a big project in the works in Louisiana and it's ( Read more... )

I'd heard rumours but I was waiting for some more official word. Seriously, once you've reached the hanging-on-to-the-edge-of-your-desk-to-keep-from-leaving stage, it's time to let go. Seriously, it's not worth it, I know. I'll go ahead and say "good luck!" for the move and the Louisiana project, tho' I'll say it again when you get closer to actually leaving.

Joe, his dad, and his uncle all own land in Shreveport that amounts to some sizable acreage. The plan is to develop the land and sell part of it of for housing. Hopefully after some of the lots sell, we will be in a position to build houses on the property prior to selling the lots.

Good luck in your new endeavors!

Will the biweekly game continue throughout the summer as long as you are still living here? I'm particularly looking forward to the game this weekend.

We are really looking forward to the game this weekend. We have no plans to change the schedule on D&D for the forseeable future. It may very well keep us sane (ish)
