Better late than never
I am sorry for not updating sooner. It has been such a hectic week. Poor excuse, guys, but its all I've got!
I did have a good birthday, and I want to say thank you to everyone who had wonderful wishes for me, ecards, LJ flowers and chocolates (who was that, really? I want to say thank you!) and especially who sent me flowers:

Last night I had a wonderful talk with Samarra, which totally energized me. And then I was able to chat on IM with Bella and Agi. What a wonderful night
Things have been going fairly well with Shawn and I. I think that I have been putting in more of an effort than before, so I know that helps. Things aren't great, but definately better. I now feel reassured that working for it is worth it, so I know that has a great part of our improvement.
My friend from work got married today. It was horribly windy, but the rain held off. I was very happy for her. She looked beautiful. As I said, I was hppy for her, but sad at the same time. I guess it is actually jealously, not so much sadness. I want to have that happy feeling, and even though things are better, I am not sure that will ever happen for Shawn and I. I guess we will see. Time will tell.
I hope to update better later this weekend. I just wanted to get another quick update in and say hello to all of you.
