Yesterday was interesting. Got up, tried to get Adam up to go to work--that failed, so he called up work and called out. We had breakfast, took Allie out for a walk, went to go see X3: The Last Stand (some parts good, but overall kinda disappointing-anticlimatic)came home, argued about my "zoned out" mood, which, he has finally learned the hard way, is how I get after seeing intense movies. I get so caught up in movies, being empathetic to certain characters and getting so lost in that world that coming back to this one is a severe disappointment. It takes me a while to adjust back to the normal, somewhat boring routine that is my life.
Which brings me to another thought: I'm thinking about going to Tai Sophia-- www.tai.edu -- and at first wanted to get certified in Acupuncture, but now I think I may want to do the Healing arts/herbalist thing. gonna require more SCHOOL though, and right now that's the LAST thing I want to think about.
It's bugging me that I can't seem to get to the gym recently--Hawaii is in two weeks, and I know I don't look good enough to go bounding around the beaches in a two-piece, like my sisters (and what bugs me the most is that my middle sister tory will probably be in one even after a baby!!--but then again, when your job is at a gym 30+ hours a week, you get to keep the body that you want.)
Today is probably a run to HCC, pick up a few transcripts, send one to the University of Maine, and await the results. It better be a diploma, or I think my father is going to fly up there personally and turn someone inside out.
Thinking of making some pasta for dinner tonight when Adam gets home. Got a lot of cleaning up to do too! Ugh, if it wasn't for this headache threatening the borders of my consciousness I'd be up for doing more.
