Lovin' is what I got (or: why friends/the people I know rock)
Tomorrow night is another German food get-together night, which is totally exciting because I apparently CANNOT GET ENOUGH GERMAN FOOD, OH GOD. I blame genetics. As a quarter-German I am genetically inclined to consume insane amounts of sausage and dumplings.
Today I realized that there are a lot of lesbians in my gender studies class. I realize that for many people this is a "of course there are, hurr" thing since that's basically the stereotype of gender studies students, but most classes that I had at NSU on the subject contained mostly self-identified straight girls, a few bisexuals and a token lesbian or two. How did I learn about my girl-loving brethren? Discussing the politics of pubic hair outside during the break, of course. ...God I am such a stereotype. Anyway, my classmates are mostly really cool, chill, and intelligent peple who say interesting things.
Good friends bring you out of a funk by drawing pictures of a strongman shrimp while you both try not to burst out laughing while the teacher tries to conduct class.
