1. Been on holiday for a week. It was lovely - a proper holiday, with sightseeing and lying by the pool and cultural exploration. Haven't had one of those for about eight years.
2. It's slightly worrying to arrive home and discover that LJ still isn't working properly. I really hope the DDoS attack goes away soon.
3. I posted ficlets for all but one of the drabble meme requests before I went away, but crossposting to LJ didn't work, no doubt because of the aforementioned DDoS attack. I'll repost in the morning (and reply to existing comments on the DW post) when I'm not quite so wrung out, but you can follow this link if you want to read before then.
4. Been watching lots of Tenth Doctor episodes in spare moments. I think my heart might lie thataway after all, much as I adore Eleven, Amy and Rory.
5. I missed the wind-up of the pilots-presents summer fest and the whole of
disc_fest - bad holiday timing on my part! I'm looking forward to catching up there in the next couple of days.
