My wizard_love gift was posted, and it's Neville/Ginny! It's long, too, at 15,000 words, and Neville is just lovely. It does start off with a bit of Harry/Ginny, but that is quickly disposed of without bashing either Harry or Ginny. The story fitted me so perfectly that I went back and looked at my requests, and the writer has pretty much written them all to the letter. So you have quietly strong, pining Neville, nice Harry, lots of women being interesting, and lots of fumbling awkwardness and real affection between Ginny, Neville and the rest of the characters. Of Greetings and Goodbyes by Anonymous - and if you're reading this, mystery author, thank you again!
My HP_beholder story has taken over my brain. I can't wait to watch it all flow out onto the page, although I suspect it's the kind of thing only I will be interested in. Still, whenever I think that I'm usually pleasantly surprised, so here's hoping. My Changing Seasons H/G prompt fits me perfectly, so I'm looking forward to writing that one, too. Oh, and r_becca's birthday story has now hit 5,000 words and no sign of a conclusion yet...
