Wha?? So in other words writers don't need to make sure that the story makes sense, or that facts relevant to the story actually be verified, histories accurate etc? Because it's just fiction and doesn't matter?
Twilight fan who was offended by people who found the strong Mormon subtext of the books (esp the predestined infant bride of Breaking Dawn) to be creepy.
Apparently since Meyer didn't meant for it to be written as a moral lesson means that we are reading too much into it and thinking too hard about books.

Granted, the author (who has a degree in English literature*) also uses that defense of her own books.
*Guess we know what a degree from Bringham Young University is worth, eh?
