Ahh, employment
So today was my first day at my new summer job and I think I'm going to enjoy it a lot. I've already got a good solid project list for the next few weeks, including the aforementioned web content writing and marketing materials production. I daresay I may have a lot of fun with this; it's been far too long since I've applied things I enjoy to making money. Got set up with my computer, my voicemail and my email today, as well as filled out all that human resources paperwork jazz. Dipped my toes into my first marketing project of the summer and will be continuing with it tomorrow. I've been so worried about what I'd be doing this summer, but it looks like it's turned out pretty well... *knocks on wood* Also, my office has a window and my desk is right beside it: SCORE! The view is really nice and there's also quite a bit of parkland around. Not a bad little locale, by any stretch. I think I'm going to like it there.
