Girls Night, Part I!!!111!!!1!! :D
I've been in a real slump for the past few weeks, but last night managed to snap me out of it for a little while, which is why last night was such a great idea. After class, Steph, Krystin and I worked out at Hart House and then we all went home to get showered before meeting back at my place for a girls night / bar party later on. Krystin brought the dinner, Steph brought the dessert and I provided the copious amounts of alcohol and snacks. I'm surprised we were all still able to stand well enough to walk to the bar later, actually. I was quite well-stocked: rum, vodka, Jagermeister, Goldschlager, Baileys and coke, orange juice, milk and coffee as available mixers... Dude. :D
After dinner, we did our make-up and Angie arrived just in time to catch the end of the Spice Girls streak. We had already been doing a lot of drinking, but we still managed to drink about a litre of liquid cocaine (goldschlager & jagermesiter) between the four of us after she arrived. We spent most of the time as we got ready dancing like madwomen in my tiny little room and singing along at the tops of our lungs to such classics as: both the first and second Spice Girls albums, Dance Mix '95 and possibly some Aqua... At around 10, a bunch of the Chem guys arrived downstairs to walk with us to Gabby's (a bar down the street from me) for Joe's surprise birthday party. All in all, it was a wonderful, distracting night. I'm so excited for Girls Night, Part II. If it's even half as much of a blast as this was, then... ah... well... hmm. I got nothing. I'm really looking forward to it, though. Anything that distracts me from these black moods I've been in will be worth its weight in Goldschlager and more.
Another fun birthday within the past few weeks was Steph Whitehurst's. Had a terrific time there, too. Below are a few of my favourite pictures from that night, taken by Camila:
