another SERIOUS warning

Mar 05, 2006 13:10

Isn't it funny that we receive warnings about viruses or scams that are oh so serious and so important. Holy Cow, you're computer is at risk...

While these warnings are great, are there not more important things in life than your precious laptops, cars and homes? Whether you're christian or not, one of the greatest lessons in life to learn is this: life is not about material things, but about every moment, every memory, every choice, every emotion.

There is so much more at risk than your material possessions...

This posting really is a serious warning! It's so serious that it's been around for Hundreds of years, and yet, is still true.

THE WARNING:
Jesus said "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3)

Does this warning matter to you? It should! Jesus is saying that unless someone is "born again", they will not go to heaven. The bible makes it clear that the only other place to go is Hell. Do you think you'll avoid hell by living a good life? Certainly not! You better find out what it means to be "born again". Do you think the ticket to heaven is simply believing in Jesus? What does believing even look like?

Then what about when the Jesus says in Matthew 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord," will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evil-doers!"

Okay, That's the warning... Just passing on. Feel free to repost this, or not, it's up to you - nothing bad will happen to you if you don't - but something bad might happen to someone else. The salvation of others is important, without the true knowledge of Jesus, people will actually go to hell.

In Love,

Donna
