New food places I just missed and have finally caught up on
Tokyeo - izakaya
Food - Like! Almost everything I've tried is good. Just a note. That egg dish is HUGE... so don't order it if you're not hungry.
Atmosphere not so much. It's a tad too gritty and real bar feel to enjoy. We sat outside the first time. And inside the second time cos it was too cold not to. Wasn't too bad cos it was early part of the year and very quiet so it was okay for us.
Egmont St Eatery
Went here for my birthday and I can say that the food was good. My own personal dish was kinda lacklustre. It was a morrocan based salad. Mum's edamame japanese style dish with gnocchi was the highlight of the night. Shame's it gone off the menu already. :(
Atmosphere is a bit too barlike for me and the bar stools don't have backs so I find it hard to sit there for long. The normal seating is almost always reserved so take note.
