How can I possibly be an astrophysics major. There are so many people in the world who can take numbers and find in them some semblance of reality. They know how fast a shadow moves, where to draw the line between infinity and zero. I don't. But there's nothing else I want to do. I love the word celestial. It sounds like the orbits of stars. And I love the idea of a universe in numbers--all those figures hung loose and thin across the heavens. But I don't understand.
Space policy sounds amazing, but that means law school, and what if I wind up a lawyer who never found a job in policy *shudder* And in any case, I still need an undergrad major :(
