Today is a sad day for me. Not so much anything of great importance, rather it's somewhat small. You see, I realized today that philosophy is not the path I once thought it was. Like a dream that has been stolen from me, its once esteemed value falls before my begging eyes. Today I realized that modern philosophers aren't the dreamers and enlightened... they are just scientists of the intangible. They have nothing I benefit from in the sense that I had hoped. A pity in thought, or as Nora (A Doll's House, Ibsen) put it, "Damn, Damn, Damn it all!".

So cultural anthropology I think might be the better major. *Sighs*
