good move! it's no point staying in the system that just gets more and more obfuscated and mired in policy. I, on the other hand, is staying on precisely because of the 'comfort zone' i had cultivated around myself. i know the system at the back of my hand, i know everyone and most people don't hate me, so that makes working here much easier than if I was just a MOPEX MO.

well... yes i'm more of a MSW than a doctor nowadays. i can even do the social part as effectively as the MSWs! it's come to the point that, if I can't solve the problem, i don't expect the MSWs to be able to solve it either :P

but that's partly the point isn't it? as a doctor... we try to mend the ills of the body... as a holistic physician... we try to mend the ills of the patient and his relationship with his family and society. Extrapolated, we contribute to the healing of society and humanity as a whole...

btw, S may very well know my canoeist brother... since he's the outgoing CDO MO and went to Thailand for the exercise as well... :P
