Science Vs. Religion
I've been thinking about this subject for awhile as I know I've got a friend who's been struggling with it. Personally, I'd like to state that I have heard of no - and I mean absolutely nothing - proven scientific principle that even hints at the impossibility of a Greater Being or any sort of spiritual life (ghosts, angels, etc.). That said, I can see where astounding leaps in our own understanding of the world and universe around us can bring a number of beliefs into question. So... pop some up! Let's see what we have to discuss.
P.S. On the catching up/this is my life side of livejournal, I'm fine. Things are going relatively well, I'm hoping to have financial aid for school worked out soon and while I'm still sans medicine, I'm hanging in there alright. Life is stabilizing and as a result, so am I. :)
