So what do you do when you pass someone in the halls, had a class with them, and then they die? Say that word to yourself, "die." It's awful and so finite.
It was so weird getting the announcement in class and then continuing on, even though half the class wasn't there. This kid, Tugger, was in his early 20s (like the rest of us) and just dropped dead conditioning for lacrosse this morning. What?
How do you handle that? It's hard for me to fathom, I can only imagine what his family and close friends are going through.
